Former WBO middleweight champion Andy Lee (35-3-1, 24 KOs) appeared on the Off The Ball program and announced his retirement from the sport.
Their showdown takes place on March 3rd, from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
They were scheduled to fight last November, but the contest was pushed back after Ortiz tested positive for a banned substance in a pre-fight drug test.
Since the fight was announced for the new Showtime televised date, Wilder has been promising to give Ortiz a lot of pain.
The Cuban puncher has other plans. He wants Wilder to back up his words.
"He's talking too much. He's going to have to back that up in the ring. He says he's going to kill 'King Kong.' He's going to knock me out. I want to watch him try. I'm not like those other guys he fought. I'm a real fighter. Tough and with a lot of experience. I've been fighting since I was 10 years old," Ortiz said.
"He doesn't intimidate me. His trash talk makes me laugh. It's just a lot of noise. I'm hungry. I'm doing this for my family. He better take me seriously because he's going to find himself on the canvas before he knows it. I'm going to show the world who 'King Kong' is."
Ortiz's words were passed over to Wilder, who took the opportunity to send a direct message to Ortiz - advising him of what's going to happen in two weeks time.
"Luis Ortiz you about to go down," Wilder said to Sky Sports. "I'm going to use you as an example for the rest of them.
